Flyover kudos - OK, I’m primarily a airplane nut, but I’m a card carrying patriot at heart and endure the pre-race pageantry to see the flyboys get their brief minute in the sun at the end of the anthem. Good to get those units some exposure. I was really pleased to see a flyby this week with a WWII B-17, and have been urging Indy to have vintage military formations on Memorial Day … only fitting IMHO.
Brickbats for TNT - They only managed a sub-second glimpse and background roar from their flyby. I hope some cameraman tripped or something. If they do it again, I’ll really be ticked!
