John Daly recently blasted “Inside Winston Cup” and tonite’s show underlined why he is so totally wrong. IMHO, he appeared to have some dislike of Despain and maybe Waltrip. Today’s show with Biffle and Shrader had the most cogent analysis of the issues involving why cars wind up being low, how cars feel and handle with loose wheels, and several other similar issues that are just babbled about elsewhere. In other programs, the same subject is banding about resorting to blaming NASCAR for being inconsistent or just expressions of “how can this happen?” By having folks who were just there offering frank opinions is FAR better than any other show!

Now, I find this “pick of the race” cheesy contests, “head to head” pickum,  and non-racing personality exposure space filling and mindless garbage. I tape virtually all of my programs so can watch them after they start, and fast forward the commercials. It gives me great pleasure to zip through any time Spencer, Rackman or Rutledge are on screen … I don’t miss their contribution a bit!
