Commentary during the coverage of F1 practice at Spa on SPEED:

Discussion of how draconian the penalty was; constructor’s points, big bucks and McLaren gets no travel money, are to be relegated down to the end of the pit lane next to Spyker.  The bombshell was that Alsono instigated the whole thing by blackmailing the team; he said something like this to McLaren:  “Make me number one and get rid of Hamilton or I will go to FIA with additional information.”

IMHO, the real stupidity is that the instigators of the fiasco exchanged hundreds of emails, perhaps the EASIEST method of communication to track and retrieve!

Then, pissy little Ferdinand finds his little junior jump-up novice teammate has more talent than he has! Like Fittapaldi with Scheckter, Pironi with Villeneuve, and Senna with everyone, he throws a snit … but being a sneaky Spaniard, he throws a sneaky snit!

With his acolyte buddy Delarosa, they also exchange lots of emails, saying: “How are we using the illegal Ferrari information? … What lap is Raikkonen coming in on his secret refueling strategy? … What is the setting of Massa’s decoder ring?” Gad, I’ve not seen a more incompetent bunch of covert message exchanges since Ming Mong tried to drop Flash Gordon into the Venusian volcano!
